As 2026 winds down, now is a great time to check in on your health. Use the steps below to schedule any remaining appointments, get your seasonal vaccines, and make getting your plan information faster.

Review your care plan 

Are there any preventative services you haven’t checked off your 2026 list yet? Fortunately, there’s still time. And while you’re at it, don’t forget to do the following: 

Schedule your annual wellness visit. Routine checkups are essential for catching any potential health issues early. 

Fill any prescriptions. Taking your medications as prescribed by your provider is critical for maintaining good health. 

Preventive screenings. You pay $0 in-network for key screenings, such as mammograms or colonoscopies as well as blood pressure and cardiovascular disease screenings. These screenings are important because they can detect diseases before symptoms appear, when they are most treatable. 

Take action: Get your flu and COVID vaccines 

Protect yourself and others this season by getting your flu and COVID vaccines at no cost through an in-network pharmacy or provider. 

  • Schedule your vaccines with your primary care provider or find a nearby in-network pharmacy at ibxmedicare.com/pharmacyfinder.  
  • If you have questions about the flu vaccine or other vaccines that may be recommended for you to get, ask your provider or pharmacist what is right for you. 

Less paper, less waiting 

Get your plan information faster. You will get emails or texts instead of mail when we have news to share. That means less paper and less waiting. See things like: 

  • Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) 
  • Bills and plan letters 

To update your choices, register or log in at ibx.com/login. Then visit Account Settings and select Communication Preferences, then choose Go Paperless for Required Communications.
