Beyond your comprehensive Independence Blue Cross health care coverage, you also have access to valuable programs and resources to support you in whatever stage of parenthood you’re in — family planning, fertility, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and beyond.
Here are some of the ways we support our members who are starting a family or raising young children.
Baby BluePrints®
Baby BluePrints is our comprehensive, free maternity program that supports pregnant members during pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum. Registered Nurse Health Coaches who specialize in pregnancy-related care are available by phone 24/7 to answer your questions or help you with any complications you may experience.

Cayaba Care
Cayaba Care goes beyond traditional maternity support, offering comprehensive pregnancy and postpartum services for eligible members with certain risk factors at no additional cost. They provide members with a dedicated Maternity Navigator who is also a certified doula. Cayaba Care works with your existing obstetrics (OB) provider and gives members access to nurses, lactation consultants, nutritionists, family support specialists, and more. Your team is available to you through in-person visits, virtual appointments, text messaging, and 24/7 call support.
Cayaba Care’s goal is to achieve equity in maternal health. Let them help you have a more joyous, safer pregnancy and postpartum experience.

Ovia Health™
Ovia offers three mobile apps for daily, personalized support through every stage of parenthood, including cycle tracking, fertility, pregnancy, newborn care, and parenting tips. You can download one or all three of the Ovia apps.
