The internship offers:
- Credit for a required externship or practice-based learning experience in an accredited local MPH program (specific deliverables TBD depending program requirements)
- Opportunity to work closely with subject matter experts across the Government Markets, Medical Policy, and Behavioral Health departments at IBX, with potential for cross-functional collaboration or networking with other areas as appropriate (e.g., Informatics for an Epidemiology-focused intern)
- Meaningful learning opportunities in a fast-paced environment that serves the local community. Potential projects may include, but are not limited to, quantitative or qualitative data analysis; program evaluation; policy analysis and/or development; in-depth analyses of public health topics such as social drivers of health (SDOH), health disparities, or health equity; clinical quality measurement; and prescription drug utilization and outcomes.
