My summer internship with IBX was an amazing experience that greatly contributed to my professional development. Interning with IBX means you have access to making meaningful connections, which is something I made sure to take full advantage of. Working with the STARS team allowed me to connect with associates who were knowledgeable in public health, my career interest. The STARS team treated me like an associate from day one! They included me in team meetings, offered career advice, and made me feel welcomed. The internship program also allowed me to connect with other interns, creating lasting professional relationships. I am grateful for the opportunity to transition into full-time employment and continue growing my career with the company.

— Tienna Moore, Enrollment Specialist (Intern class of 2024)

Through my time at IBX, I've been able to experience multiple departments under the Corporate Communications and Marketing umbrellas. I started as an intern in Associate Communications, extended my time at IBX with a co-op role in Government Markets, and currently work full-time in the Marketing department as an Associate Marketing Solutions Specialist. I'm truly grateful to have worked on so many cross-functional projects and apply what I've learned on previous teams into my current role. It's been an incredible ride!

— Chrislin Thomas, Assoc Marketing Solutions Specialist (Intern class of 2023, 2024 Co-op)

Throughout my 10-week internship, not only was I determined to get an understanding of how IBX operated, but I also wanted to leave a good impression in the hopes of landing a full-time role. My intern experience was filled with multiple trainings every week and meetings with different directors, managers and executives of the underwriting and finance department. With so much on their plates, they still found the time to talk to me about my life, how I was getting along with my work, answering any questions I had, and offering me advice for the long career that lay ahead of me. The 1-on-1 meetings were incredibly valuable and meaningful to me.

— Alec Funchion, Associate Underwriter (Intern class of 2023)
