An annual wellness visit with your primary care provider (PCP) is available at no cost — so schedule your visit today!

Preventive screenings

IBX Medicare Advantage plans pay for a yearly checkup with your PCP. They also pay for many preventive screenings at no cost to you.

Annual wellness visit

Your annual wellness visit is a yearly visit with your primary care provider (PCP) that focuses on prevention. During the visit, your doctor can review your health history, medications, risk factors, and the preventive care you may need.

It is also a great time to ask questions, talk about health concerns, and plan next steps for screenings, vaccines, and follow-up care.

During your annual wellness visit, your PCP may:

  • Review your current health and medical history
  • Talk with you about your medications
  • Check for health risks and safety concerns
  • Recommend preventive screenings or vaccines
  • Help create a plan for your ongoing care

Screenings can help detect certain conditions early, sometimes before symptoms begin. Your doctor can help you understand which screenings may be right for you based on your age, health history, and risk factors.

Common preventive screenings may test for:

It all begins with the Annual Wellness Visit, which is available at no cost when you use an eligible provider. Once you complete your visit, you can earn your first reward.

After that, you may be able to earn additional rewards for completing other eligible activities that help you stay on track with your health.

Important dates to know

Be sure to earn and redeem your 2026 rewards by December 31, 2026.
