IBX Care Card
Your IBX Care Card is a convenient way to save money and access your annual IBX health rewards allowance — and, for our select plans, your quarterly over-the-counter (OTC) benefit allowance. Your IBX Care Card is separate from your IBX member ID card and comes activated. Simply swipe your card and select credit — no pin is needed!

IBX health rewards
Doing the right thing for your health can come with rewards: IBX health rewards! As an Independence Blue Cross Medicare Advantage member, you are eligible for a reward allowance to be used on items/services from some of your favorite retailers.
Start with your Annual Wellness Visit
It all begins with the Annual Wellness Visit, which is available at no cost when you use an eligible provider.
After that, you are able to earn additional rewards dollars for completing other eligible activities that help you stay on track with your health.
Important dates to know
This allowance must be used in the calendar year. Complete and report your activities, then redeem your allowance — all before December 31, 2027.
How to claim your rewards
Claim online: Go to mybenefitscenter.com.
Claim by phone: Claim your IBX health rewards allowance by calling the IBX Member Help Team at the number on the back of your member ID card. Representatives are available seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. On weekends and holidays from April 1 through September 30, your call may be sent to voicemail.
OTC benefit allowance
For select plans, your OTC benefit allowance is an important part of health and wellness. The OTC benefit allowance helps members save money on items like cold and allergy medications, first aid supplies, blood pressure cuffs, vitamins and minerals, and more. Your IBX Care Card is separate from your IBX member ID card and comes already activated. Simply swipe your card and select credit — no pin is needed!
The OTC benefit is a quarterly allowance preloaded on your IBX Care Card to pay for eligible OTC health and wellness items at participating stores. View our top 30 OTC products available for purchase.
Shop at a participating store or from home!
- Order online and in-store: Go to mybenefitscenter.com for a list of participating retailers/products, as well as to order online. All you need is your IBX Care Card number to log in.
- Order by phone: Call CVS at 1-833-287-0314 (TTY/TDD: 711) Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Your OTC benefit allowance is preloaded quarterly (every three months) and will not roll over to the next benefit period. Your OTC benefit will be available for use on the first day of each quarter:
- January 1 through March 31
- April 1 through June 30
- July 1 through September 30
- October 1 through December 31
Quarterly OTC allowances vary by plan
- Keystone 65 Basic HMO: $25
- Keystone 65 Assured HMO, Keystone 65 Liberty HMO, Keystone 65 Preferred HMO, Keystone 65 Select HMO, and Personal Choice 65SM PPO: $30
- Keystone 65 Focus HMO-POS: $75
