Deductible/Coinsurance Drug Program

The Deductible/Coinsurance Drug Program is a comprehensive prescription drug program. Member cost-sharing is based on an up-front deductible and coinsurance combined with an out-of-pocket maximum.

Features of the Deductible/Coinsurance Drug Program:

• There is no need to pre-select a pharmacy.
• More than 60,000 pharmacies nationwide participate in the FutureScripts® retail network, including the area's largest retail chains.
• Member deductible and coinsurance out-of-pocket costs are based on the FutureScripts negotiated discount price at participating pharmacies, which is typically below average retail prices.
• No claims forms needed when participating pharmacies are used.
• Members can verify their eligibility at participating pharmacies online before they leave the house.
• Participating pharmacies can instantly check available drug history for possible drug interactions and other dangers.

How the Plan Works

When members purchase covered prescription drugs, here's how the program works:

MEMBER PAYS per person per calendar year deductible		IBC PAYS designated percentage of the FutureScripts® negotiated discount price at participating retail or mail order pharmacies	MEMBER PAYS designated percentage of the FutureScripts negotiated discount price at participating retail or mail order pharmacies		Once member reaches the designated out-of-pocket maximum, IBC pays 100% of the FutureScripts negotiated discount price at participating retail or mail order pharmacies for remainder of the calendar year
