Meet the Chef Katie Cavuto Boyle, MS, RD
When it comes to eating healthy, local and fresh are two simple rules you want to follow. When we began developing Healthy Steps, we decided to take the same approach, so we began our partnership with Katie Cavuto Boyle. Born and raised outside Philadelphia, Katie Cavuto Boyle is a registered dietitian and chef with a fun and modern approach to eating healthy.
Katie is dedicated to showing others how easy it can be to live a healthy lifestyle. She promotes farm-to-table fare and the use of seasonal, local ingredients. Her philosophy is what she likes to call “green cuisine,” which is about eating healthy for your body and the planet.
Our lives are so busy. We need to take time to appreciate our bodies and the food that we eat. It is my goal to make this a little easier.
Katie’s obvious love of good, healthy food led her to open Healthy Bites, LLC, a one-stop market, café, caterer, meal-delivery service, cooking-lesson, and nutrition-counseling business. But it’s her uncanny ability to make healthy food easy to make and impossible to resist that has captured the attention of everyone from the Philadelphia Phillies (she’s their consulting dietitian) to The Food Network (she was a finalist on Season Five of The Next Food Network Star) to all of us here at Healthy Steps. Katie has been featured in Parents and Philadelphia magazines and has appeared on FOX, CBS, NBC, and The Rachel Ray Show.
