Let Us Help You Get Employees Back into the Workplace

Developing a solid return-to-work strategy requires a number of considerations — safety, logistics, and, of course, supporting your employees during the transition.

At Independence Blue Cross, we’ve been thinking a lot about how to make your transition back to the work site as smooth as possible. Our Workplace Ready program brings the tools, materials, and partnerships our large employer customers need together in one coordinated, easy-to-access package.

Testing

Returning to the workplace depends on establishing policies that foster a safe, secure environment. We have partners who can support on-site COVID-19 testing as well as those that can help you obtain testing kits, provide testing education, and support protocols to help you welcome your workforce back with confidence. Let us help you in:

  • Forging connections with testing services
  • Planning your return to worksite testing strategy*
  • Providing education and support to employees on test options and requirements

Vaccinations

Widespread COVID-19 vaccination is the cornerstone of getting our community and the economy back to normal. With 80 percent of large employers planning to conduct COVID-19 vaccine awareness campaigns,2 the right support is critical. Let us connect you with partners who can support you and your employees throughout the vaccination process and work with you to set up vaccine clinics for your employees. We can connect you with a partner to administer vaccines and then help by:

  • Working with you to define vaccine strategy
  • Supporting your vaccination roll-out
  • Engaging and encouraging your employees with vaccine education programs

Employee Support

In a recent survey of U.S. employers, more than 45 percent expressed concerns about workers who are afraid to return to the workplace due to fear of getting sick or adjusting back into a workplace environment.3 Your employees need an added level of support during this stressful time. Our program focuses on the whole person, with attention to issues like childcare, emotional support, and exciting, accessible digital solutions, and includes:

  • New emotional well-being and COVID-19 programs in our Achieve Well-Being app
  • A customizable mobile phone app to screen, track, and manage your employees’ return to work
  • Printable, downloadable resources you can share with your employees
