At Independence Blue Cross, our first priority is making sure every member has access to quality care and affordable health coverage. That’s why we offer the broadest choice of doctors and hospitals in the region. It is also why we make sure members like you are always aware of any potential changes to our network that may impact you.
For the past several months, we have been in discussions with Trinity Health (Trinity) about our current agreement and how we can best work together in the future. Those discussions continue, but we don’t have a new agreement yet. At this time, you are still able to receive care at Trinity facilities and from their physicians.
Below is a list of questions and answers to explain how you might be affected if a new agreement is not reached by March 31, 2019.
