With employees spending so much time in the workplace, the need for worksite health and wellness programs has grown dramatically in recent years. Employers are recognizing the importance of providing convenient health education and disease management programs that address the needs of their employees.

At Independence Blue Cross, we team up with employer groups throughout Philadelphia and the surrounding five-county area to bring targeted wellness programs directly to the workplace. This is our Wellness Partners Program.

In this section, you’ll discover features of the Wellness Partners program currently being offered to Independence Blue Cross employer account groups. Some of the features include: employer toolkits, preventive health screenings, awareness seminars, and other wellness activities.

Implementing a PHP campaign is recommended as the ideal way to kick off a Wellness Partnership. The results of the campaign can be used to strategically plan health promotion activities for the coming year.
