Nurse Faculty Program
Launched in 2006, the IBC Nurse Faculty Program directly addresses the shortage of nurse educators by providing supplemental support to benefit local nursing programs hindered by lack of qualified faculty. This program provides:
- Nurse Faculty Line Grants awarded to nursing programs specifically to hire or retain faculty and, consequently, to increase the number of students enrolled in the program;
- Graduate Program Expansion Grants awarded to selected graduate nursing programs to help them increase enrollment and retain students pursuing a degree that will qualify them to become nurse educators.
