BlueCard®
BlueCard is a national program through the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association that enables Blue Cross Blue Shield members of one Blue Plan to obtain health care service benefits while traveling or living in another Blue Plan’s service area. The BlueCard program links participating health care providers with the various Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans across the country and in more than 200 countries and territories worldwide through a single electronic network for claims processing and reimbursement.
BlueCard Coordination of Benefits Questionnaire
Make sure your patients get the care they need covered. The BlueCard Coordination of Benefits questionnaire helps us determine which members have coverage under multiple insurance plans, and which plan is responsible for covering which medical costs. Coordination makes sure each claim is paid quickly and properly. We ask that members complete this questionnaire as soon as possible if they believe they have more than one health insurance plan to avoid billing issues.
