Checking your browser

At the top of the window you are viewing this page in, you will see the type of browser you are using. Here’s how to check what version you have:

If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer

  1. Select Help from the browser’s main menu.
  2. Move down to select About Internet Explorer.
  3. A new window will open displaying which version you are using.

I have version 7 or above.
I have version 6 or below.

If you are using Mozilla Firefox

  1. If you are using a PC, select Help from the browser’s main menu. If you are using a Mac, select Firefox from the browser’s main menu.
  2. Move down to select About Firefox.
  3. A new window will open, displaying which version you are using.

I have version 1.5 or above.
I have version 1.4 or below.

If you are using Safari

  1. Select Safari from the browser’s main menu.
  2. Move down to select About Safari.
  3. A new window will open, displaying which version you are using.

I have version 1 or above.
I have version 0.9 or below.
