Race Information

Independence Blue Cross is the proud title sponsor of this Mid-Atlantic USATF Grand Prix event. The Blue Cross Broad Street Run is a USATF-certified, point-to-point course that starts at the Central High School Athletic Field at Broad Street and Somerville Avenue. The course finishes inside the Philadelphia Naval Business Yard at the end of Broad Street in South Philadelphia. There are eleven water stations, digital clocks at each mile, first aid stations, port-a-potties, entertainment, and numerous ambulances on the course.

* This one-time promotion applies only to the Blue Cross Broad Street Run. Only non-Medicare, managed care members are eligible for the 10 gym-visit credits. The Fitness Program reimburses eligible members up to $150 of fitness center fees for completing 120 workouts in a 365-day enrollment period. Gym-visit credits are good for 365 days from the date of issue.
