Independence Blue Cross (IBC) testimony to House Insurance Committee about adultBasic funding

IBC testified in Harrisburg before the House Insurance Committee May 4, 2010 about how to continue funding adultBasic until federal health insurance reforms and mandates take effect in 2014. Currently, through a voluntary agreement — set to expire on December 30, 2010 — IBC and the three other Blue plans in PA provide more than half of the funding for the state-subsidized health program.
