Attention adultBasic Members!

As of February 28, 2011, coverage under the adultBasic insurance program has ended.

You have several alternatives for continuing to receive health coverage, including Special CareSM*, which is a low-cost product offered by Independence Blue Cross.

If you are considering enrolling in Special Care, please give careful consideration to the covered benefits under this program. For more information, please visit our Special Care website.

For adultBasic members who are applying for Special Care coverage by May 2, 2011, Independence Blue Cross will waive the pre-existing condition exclusion as well as the required income eligibility review.

We encourage you to review all health care coverage options available to help you make an informed decision about what plan best meets your health care needs and budget.
