With Independence Blue Cross (IBC), you have access to an extensive network of doctors and hospitals. While we want you to have the widest range of choices, we also want to make sure you have access to quality care. To achieve this, we collect information through private data sources and carefully review all physicians, hospitals, and health care providers before they become participating providers.
Find Participating Doctors, Hospitals, and Ancillary Providers
The online provider finder tool provides information available through our network systems on the physicians, hospitals, and ancillary providers who participate in our managed care products, including Keystone HMO/POS, Personal Choice® PPO, national BlueCard® PPO, and our Medicare Advantage plans.
The provider finder tool is easy to use. You can search for a physician or other provider by name, location, specialty, or medical procedure. If you are a national customer, the provider finder now allows you to search directly for participating physicians and hospitals in the National BlueCard PPO network. Just click on National BlueCard PPO in the 'Plan Preference — Select a Plan' selection box.

Blue DistinctionSM Centers
The Blue Distinction program gives consumers access to the resources they need to make informed decisions about specialty care, including weight loss (bariatric surgery), cardiac care, complex and rare cancers, knee and hip replacement, spine surgery, and transplant services. Through the Blue Distinction Center designation, consumers can identify facilities that have extensive experience in these services, meet rigorous quality standards, and consistently demonstrate positive results.
Retail Health Clinics
In a hurry? As a Personal Choice® member, you will be able to visit any Take Care or MinuteClinic retail health facility in the Greater Philadelphia area for basic medical needs as an alternative to a traditional doctor’s office appointment.
Credentialing Noncompliance
If you believe that you or anyone you know may have received health care services from a practitioner who may not be fully credentialed but is participating in the Keystone Health Plan East or Personal Choice® networks, please submit a report. All reports are confidential. You are not required to provide your name, address, or other identifying information.
