Welcome to the Independence Blue Cross (IBC) Open Season website — a comprehensive introduction to your IBC FEP plan options for 2008. The information you’ll find here is designed to help you make informed healthcare decisions, without spending a lot of time standing in line at Open Season meetings.
Included in this site are all of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and IBC benefit brochures available for you to download. You’ll also find answers to many of the most frequently asked questions about your plan options and benefits through the video above. And, when you’re ready to change your coverage, you can complete your enrollment online.
The Open Enrollment season for Federal Employees begins on November 12, 2007 and ends on December 10, 2007. All enrollment changes will be effective January 1, 2008. If you don’t want or need to make any changes to your benefit plan, you do not need to do anything. Your current coverage will continue in 2008.
