Engaging Consumers @ Work
Engaging Consumers @ Work increases employers’ opportunities to communicate the simple steps and tangible benefits of living a healthier lifestyle. The program is a great opportunity for employers to participate in an initiative that provides educational information to help employees become more aware of how their daily choices have an impact on health and the overall cost of health care.
A recent joint research initiative with the Harvard Medical School Department of Health Care Policy and the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association measuring the impact of Engaging Consumers @ Work found that its combination of educational tools along with a program like WalkingWorks™ was more effective than an educational component alone.¹ Employees who participated in both programs showed significant increase in positive employer perception.
Realizing that today’s employers need options when it comes to workplace wellness programs, Engaging Consumers @ Work can be used as a “stand-alone” wellness program, or in combination with the WalkingWorks program.
Educational Materials
Posters
Posters can be printed and displayed in common areas throughout the workplace.

Which would you rather have everyday?
Know your numbers.
Your health. Your choice.
Choose your baggage wisely.
How much do you want to spend on heart disease?
Table tents
Table tents are a great addition to dining or common areas in the workplace. Reaching employees with healthy eating and weight-loss information during lunch breaks can provide a health reminder during an otherwise tempting time.
