EligibilityNursing Internship ProgramEach program is open to undergraduate nursing students who have completed at least one clinical rotation AND who attend an accredited nursing program in southeastern Pennsylvania supported by the IBC Nurse Scholars program. View the list of nursing programs sponsored by the IBC Nurse Scholars Program If you are selected to participate, you must be available for the entire ten-week internship program beginning Monday, June 8 through Friday, August 14, 2009. You will not be considered for this internship program if you are enrolled in summer day classes or have a week(s) vacation scheduled during this timeframe. This is a paid, temporary position, Monday – Friday. Hours of operation may vary for Community Health Center internship assignments. Students who meet the eligibility criteria may apply for one or both nursing internship programs offered by IBC. If applying for both, please indicate order of preference. We will match student resumes and essays with the internship requests submitted by IBC Health Services management and the clinics we support. Students selected by the requesting manager or clinic will be scheduled for an interview. If selected to be an intern, students must follow our hiring process, which includes pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check. |
