Quick reference for Epocrates^® Rx formulary & the Select Drug Program^® formulary

Click on the link that best describes your interaction with Epocrates:

• You have never visited the Epocrates website.
• You have visited the Epocrates website and registered, but you never downloaded any applications, or you are using a new (or recently reset) handheld device.
• You currently use Epocrates Rx or Epocrates Rx Pro on your handheld device, but you have never loaded an Independence Blue Cross (IBC) formulary.

You have never visited the Epocrates website.

1. Go to www.epocrates.com.
2. Select the version of the Epocrates application that best meets your needs. (Note that ALL versions include the Epocrates clinical drug and formulary information.)
   • Epocrates Rx — basic version available for free on Palm OS or Pocket PC devices
   • Epocrates Rx Pro — premium clinical software suite available on a Palm OS or Pocket PC devices
   • Epocrates Rx Online — premium version available for a desktop computer
3. Click on Add to Cart.
4. Click on Sign Up Now! and complete the registration form.
5. Complete the purchase process, if applicable.
6. Follow directions to complete the download and installation.
7. Select an IBC formulary (under Pennsylvania on the formulary selection page).
8. AutoUpdate your PDA frequently to receive updates from IBC and Epocrates.

2. Log in to the website using your username and password.
3. Select an IBC formulary (under Pennsylvania on the formulary selection page).
4. Select Add to My List and then click Done.
5. AutoUpdate your PDA to install the IBC formulary to your PDA.
