Independence Blue Cross is making some changes to the products it is offering in 2010. We are pleased to continue to offer a diverse array of products and services for Medicare beneficiaries, and we are committed to working closely with members and eligible beneficiaries to help them choose a plan that best suits their needs. However, as we have stated in previous editions of Partners in Health UpdateSM, unprecedented decreases in government reimbursement for Medicare Advantage plans have led to our decision to not renew some plans for 2010.
