Montgomery Rehab Hospital Closure

Montgomery Rehab Hospital of Chestnut Hill has notified us that it is closed for inpatient and outpatient services as of June 19, 2008. As a result of the hospital’s closure, Montgomery Rehab Hospital of Chestnut Hill is no longer a part of Independence Blue Cross’s provider network.

Please note, this closure does not affect our agreement with the hospital’s skilled nursing facility, which is located on the 3rd floor of Montgomery Rehab Hospital of Chestnut Hill. This facility will remain open for covered services.
