Stephan Roker Joins Independence Blue Cross as Vice President Processing Services

Philadelphia, PA - June 28, 2007 - Independence Blue Cross today announced that Stephan Roker will be joining the company as vice president of Processing Services. In this role, Roker will oversee claims processing, adjustments, and claims quality assurance programs.

Roker has 18 years of experience in the banking and insurance industry, having led teams in customer service, call center operations, insurance, banking, fraud operations, and marketing. Prior to joining Independence Blue Cross (IBC), Roker was senior vice president for Bank of America Card Services, where he was responsible for risk management, underwriting, and U.S. credit and business cards lines of credit.

Roker graduated with a BA from State University of New York at Stony Brook, and a MBA from New York Institute of Technology. Roker resides in Exton, PA with his wife Rhona and two children, Alexander and Clio.
