Senior Research Analyst

We currently have several opportunities for Senior Research Analysts in our conveniently located Center City Philadelphia location. The Analysts will be responsible for designing and carrying out pharmacy analysis and reporting projects on behalf of Informatics business customers, both external and internal.

• Act as liaison with Informatics technical teams on behalf of Informatics business customers and directly with FutureScripts customers in presenting cost and utilization experience, along with recommendations for improvement.
• Support the FutureScripts PBM regarding data, reporting, and analytical needs, e.g., for external clients, formulary management, cost and utilization trending, utilization compared to market norms, proposal preparation, etc.
• Support the IBC Health Plans regarding data, reporting and analytical needs, e.g., for external customers, cost and utilization trending, pharmacy related strategic project support, formulary management, Medicare specific compliance, proposal preparation, DUR programs, etc.
• Mentor junior analysts in the department.
• Other duties as required.

Advanced degree in Public Health, Statistics, Epidemiology, Health Care, related quantitative area, or equivalent experience. Four or more years experience in a managed care organization or similar health care or pharmacy data organization. Five more years experience analyzing large pharmacy datasets and using sophisticated analytic tools. Strong demonstrated writing and speaking skills. Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Access, SQL query design, and Business Intelligence tools.
