Graduate Assistants and Teaching Assistants Eligible for a SubsidyImportant Notice
You need to enroll in the plan of your choice. Your appointment letter will show the semester and percentage amount of your subsidy. Upon receipt of the appointment letter, your subsidy amount will be verified and your credit will be processed. Fractional appointments will have the subsidy contributions prorated. Depending upon your subsidy amount, if there is a premium balance due after your subsidy has been applied, you are responsible for the balance, and you must pay the balance due. You will be billed separately from your tuition and will receive a bill from Independence Blue Cross.
For Fall semester if you previously had a six month appointment, please forward your new appointment letter to Temple University. Your subsidy contribution will be processed for you as soon as possible.
If you have not received your appointment letter, you may still enroll, and you will receive your subsidy credit when your appointment is finalized. When you receive your appointment letter, send it to Human Resources at Temple University, 1852 N. 10th St., TASB (083-39), Philadelphia, PA, 19122 or fax it to 215-926-2288.
