How to Use the CHIP of Pennsylvania Online Handbook
The CHIP of Pennsylvania Online Handbook is a convenient source for information about your Children's Health Insurance Program.
The handbook is divided into 7 sections, plus a Table of Contents. Use the text links in the Table of Contents or the tabs at the top of the page to navigate through the sections. When you are in a section, the tab at the top of the page will change from blue to gold. For example, if you are in the "Using Your Child's Insurance" section, the tab will look like this:

Inside each section, you will see subsections on the left-hand side of your screen. For instance, "Using Your Child's Insurance" includes three subsections: "The Keystone Plan", "How To See A Specialist" and "Emergency, Urgent and Follow-Up Care". When you are in a subsection, the name of the subsection is highlighted, as shown below:

At the top of each subsection page are subsection 'quick links' that will take you directly to the topic that you are interested in. In the example shown below, clicking on "Keystone Participating Providers" will take you directly to that topic within the subsection.

You can always return to the quick link menu at the top of the page by clicking the "return to top" symbol - - located at the end of each topic.
Remember, you can also select the "Index" link to see the full listings of each section and subsection.
