Three winning nurses will be treated to exciting prizes, including a $500 cash prize, a $2,500 donation on their behalf to the nonprofit of their choice, and a celebratory event. The winners will also receive the Sunshine Award — named in honor of the late Paula Sunshine, former IBX Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Executive, who helped launch Celebrate Caring in 2019.

As the clinical director and forensic nurse manager at the Philadelphia Sexual Assault Response Center, Allison has transformed the landscape of forensic nursing in Philadelphia. Her advocacy also extends beyond the clinic.
By day, Francis is a dedicated cardiac ICU nurse at Penn Medicine and a nurse practitioner student. In his personal time, Francis volunteers with The Kensington Project, providing wound care to people experiencing homelessness in the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia.
As a member of Penn Medicine’s inpatient diabetes consult team, Jasmine identifies social determinants of health as barriers to follow-up care. Beyond the hospital, Jasmine has also introduced a series of weekend diabetes education classes in the community.
