What is IBX doing to help?

You don’t have to figure out the ins and outs of the health care law on your own. That’s what we — and this site — are here for. You want information? We wrote the book: Learn more about the law and how to get the most out of your health care dollars with our Health Care Law & You guide.

Buying A Health Plan From IBX

Independence Blue Cross, like most insurers, offers an easy-to-use website, www.ibx4you.com, to compare health plans and choose the one that provides the best coverage and benefits for you — all at a price that best fits your budget.

We’ve created a video to show how our shopping tool will work:

If you know someone who needs health insurance but doesn’t have access to the Internet, they can still get help and buy a plan by calling us at 1-888-475-6186.

Buying A Health Plan From The Marketplace

The federal government offers an online Health Insurance Marketplace designed to help you and your family explore every qualified health insurance plan in your area. You will be able to buy a plan directly from the Marketplace, in addition to buying direct from Independence Blue Cross.

You also have the option to work with Marketplace navigators or health insurance brokers. Navigators will provide unbiased information about the health plans as you consider your options and help you enroll in the plan that’s right for you. Brokers usually represent several health insurance companies and can help you select products from those companies.
