Eligibility
Who is Eligible?
You must meet the following requirements to be enrolled in adultBasic:
- Must be a resident of Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery or Philadelphia county in Pennsylvania for 90 days prior to the date of enrollment;
- Must be uninsured for at least 90 days prior to the date of enrollment (except if laid off);
- Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent/resident alien or refugee;
- Must not be covered by any other health insurance plan, self-insured plan or self-funded plan;
- Must not be eligible for or covered by Medicaid or Medicare;
- Must meet guidelines based on family size and income; and
- Must be 19 years of age through 64 years of age.
Proof of Eligibility
You must provide proof of eligibility to the Caring Foundation whenever you are asked to do so. If you refuse to provide proof, your coverage will be terminated.
Change in Eligibility
It is your responsibility to report any change in residence,
family composition or income to the Caring Foundation immediately. |
