use it as a reference whenever services are required.
Primary and Preventive Health Services
Prior to enrollment, you will have selected a primary
care physician. The following benefits are available through
your primary care physician listed on your Keystone ID
Card:
- Treatment for illness and injury;
- Physical examinations;
- For female members, routine gynecological
examinations and Pap smears. Services are available
through a primary care physician or participating gynecologist—no
referral necessary;
- Immunizations (except
those required for travel or work);
- Routine allergy injections;
- Office visits during and after
regular office hours, including emergency visits, and
home visits when medically necessary; and
- Referrals to a specialist for medically necessary
care.
