An enhancement to integrated prescription drug coverage — a preventive medication option that provides a higher level of benefits coverage to members who need certain medications to prevent illness. This option allows employers to waive the deductible for covered preventive medications. Members are covered for these medications according to the coinsurance or copayment requirements of their drug coverage, without first having to meet their plan’s deductible.
