Blue Solutions® Choice

Blue Solutions Choice products help you to control your budget and offer your employees more options. Any Blue Solutions plan and most Blue Solutions Plus plans can be set up as a defined contribution product.

Blue Solutions Choice gives you more control and your employees more variety, so you can:

  • Choose the same contribution amount from year to year.
  • Offer more plans so your employees can choose from options that meet their health and financial needs.
  • Streamline the benefits administration process with our customized website where employees make their plan selection.

How Blue Solutions Choice Works

There are three main components of Blue Solutions Choice that may be different from the health plans you previously offered.

  1. You determine the contribution that you provide your employees to spend on their health care coverage.
  2. You select the health benefit plans from the Blue Solutions Choice product portfolio. Choose from copay, deductible, health reimbursement account (HRA) compatible, and health savings account (HSA) qualified products. The size of your group determines the number of plans you may offer:

  3. Your employees shop online for the health benefit plan that best suits their needs using the contribution you selected.
