Yvette D. BrightEVP and Chief Transformation Officer
Yvette D. Bright is executive vice president and chief transformation officer, with responsibility for human resources, information services, customer service, and operating platform transformation. She joined Independence Blue Cross (IBC) in 1991.
At IBC, Bright has held a variety of roles with increasing responsibility in the operational, provider, marketing, and eBusiness areas. In 2001, she was selected to lead the company’s growing eBusiness initiatives. In 2005, she was appointed senior vice president for eBusiness and Operations and assumed oversight of all operational areas — including claims processing, member services, and enrollment — in addition to eBusiness. She was named senior vice president and chief administrative officer in 2009.
Prior to joining IBC, Bright held several positions in marketing, training, and consulting services in the United States and United Kingdom.
Bright serves on the board of the Walnut Street Theater.
Bright graduated from Tulane University School of Engineering, completed post-graduate course work at the London Business School, and received her master of business administration in health care management from Saint Joseph’s University.
