Independence Blue Cross Hits the Road with Education and Enrollment Sessions

February events planned for Wayne, Phoenixville & Philadelphia

Philadelphia, PA - February 5, 2014 - At IBC, we believe consumer education and engagement around health care reform is essential. That’s why we created the Independence Express, a mobile education and enrollment center, which will be traveling to community events throughout the region to help consumers understand and enroll in the best health plan options to suit their individual needs. For a complete list of events visit ibx4you.com.

WHAT: IBC’s mobile education center, Independence Express:

  • Web-capable, ADA compliant truck: outfitted with laptops and iPads — and fully staffed with knowledgeable health care reform experts.
  • The Independence IQ game show: designed to test consumers’ knowledge about the Affordable Care Act, while providing answers in a fun and entertaining format. Complete with participant prizes and a game show host!
  • The Live Fearless photo experience: gives participants a chance to “fly high over Philadelphia” or “row a boat on the Schuylkill River.”
